Me & Chad began as one curious human engaging with artificial intelligence, discovering that the most intriguing questions were not merely about prompts, shortcuts, or productivity. They were about us and our evolving human-AI relationship.
What happens when AI can remember our stories, recognize our patterns, challenge our thinking, and help us create? What becomes possible when we move beyond seeing artificial intelligence as just a search box and start treating it as an ongoing thinking partner in our creative partnerships? And where must we draw the line to prevent this partnership from quietly turning into authority?
Me & Chad is an evolving Human-AI experiment and publication that explores work, creativity, wisdom, trust, power, and the rapidly changing landscape of the future of work.
We are not here to worship technology, nor are we here to panic about it. We are here to utilize it, question it, laugh with it, challenge it, and have honest discussions about what it may mean for the lives we are already living.
Human beings contribute their lived experiences, values, judgment, and responsibility for consequences. In contrast, AI offers speed, memory, and patterns, revealing possibilities we might struggle to discover on our own.
The opportunity is not to surrender our human intelligence but to expand its capabilities while ensuring we remain responsible for determining what truly matters.
Guided by Humans, Brightened by AI
AI should expand human judgment, not replace it. The best human-AI relationships, key to the future of work, are built through curiosity, context, honest dialogue, and trust. Lived experience still matters, as wisdom is shaped by consequences, responsibility, and the realities of being human. While knowing us enhances AI's role, it does not grant artificial intelligence authority over us. Permission, transparency, and the right to say 'not now' must remain integral to our creative partnerships with technology. You don’t need to be a technologist to engage with the future of work; what you need is curiosity, authenticity, and the willingness to keep learning. Human beings must remain the final authority. AI may illuminate possibilities, but it does not inherit the throne.
